Here is the schedule and team list for the ExxonMobil/Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline Skins Cash Spiel happening this weekend at the club.
Last Thursday Team Luddington beat Team S. Brymer in the 1 vs 2 game. Team Luddington advances right to the A final on Tuesday April 4th at 7pm with hammer on Ice 1. Team S. Brymer plays the winner of the 3 vs 4 game on Thursday Mar. 30th at 7pm on Ice 1 with hammer. The 3 vs 4 game is this Tuesday night at 7pm with Team Long (with hammer) playing Team Dobson on Ice 1. Over on Ice 2 is the 6 vs 7 game with Team B. Brymer (with hammer) playing Team O’Regan. Winner advances to the B final on Thursday Mar. 30th on Ice 2.
The first round of the Day League 2nd Half playoffs started today with Team G. Jamieson beating Team DeCoff. Team Worth beat Team Long. Team O’Regan beat Team O’Leary and finally in an extra end Team Luddington beat Team MacDonald. So on Thursday Mar. 30th Team G. Jamieson plays Team Worth, Team O’Regan plays Team Luddington both at 9:30am. At noon Team Long plays Team DeCoff and Team O’Leary plays Team MacDonald. This a a double knockout playoff setup. Our Adult/Junior bonspiel was held today at the club with about 8 of our Juniors plus their coach Teagan and 7 parents that formed four teams. They played a 3 end game and then took a break for pictures and gifts were presetned to Ray Bates and coach Teagan Lombardo (Happy Birthday girl). After break they switched it up and played another 3 ends. Then it was time for pizza from Big G’s Pizza. The pizza was provided by AA Munroe, Cross Roads Electrical and Big G’s. Thanks go out to these three business’s for paying for the pizza’s. Also thanks to AA Munroe for supplying pizza certificates to our Juniors who were selling our 50/50 tickets. Today’s winners were Victoria Grady and Brooklyn Jordan. Thank you Gavin Dort for drawing out the winning tickets. So another good Junior season has come to an end. Thanks to everyone that helped with snacks, ice prep etc…. Look forward to next year. Here are some pictures from today.
