Our 1st attempt at a spiel before Christmas has been successful. Eight teams were entered in ‘4’ end games over two days. A total of ‘4’ games per team. In the end Team Long took home the distinction of being the 1st winner of this new event. In second place was Team Connolly and in third place by a point was Team Luddington. I want to thank three of our sponsors who helped supply us with prizes. They were RBC (Guysborough), Make Your Own Wine & Beer, and Waterline Graphix. Also to Paul Long who went out and got us some fine prizes to help out the prize table. Thanks also go out to all who donated food for the weekend plus the help on ice, in the bar and kitchen.
