Our annual Cecil Boyd Trophy games vs Canso CC have been resurrected. On Mar. 19/20 both clubs got together to compete for the Trophy last won by Canso CC in 1993. Below is a brief history on the trophy:
History of the Cecil Boyd Trophy
On march 19 Canso sent three teams to our club to start the series for 4 games. Chedabucto won the four games that day. On the 20th Chedabucto returned the favour and sent three teams to Canso for 5 games. The end result in Canso was Canso winning 3 of 5. In total the final count was Chedabucto’s 6 wins to Canso’s 3 wins. Top team was Team Casey from the Canso CC. Below are some pictures from weekend.
