Teams were picked last night by the 8 skips and here is the makeup of the 8 teams for the weekend plus the schedule of games. Good luck to all.
As of today, Jan. 10th, we now have 33 curlers signed up for the Edgar Sceles Memorial. Unless we get 7 more curlers who want to play we will go with 8 teams and any extras will be put on a spare list. A note from the Sceles family late last week was that they are unable to provide memorial pins for this years spiel. The manufacturer is unable to get Stirling silver anymore plus the engraver has retired. Therefore they have graciously donated money in place of pins for prizes at the spiel. A big thank you to the Sceles family for this.
Our numbers for the Edgar Sceles Memorial is now at 25 curlers. So based on those figures we are good to go for the bonspiel. But it would be nice to get that number to at least 32 to have 8 teams. Last day to sign up is next Wed Jan. 11th. Skips will pick the teams on the 12th.
