Our annual ExxonMobil and Maritimes & Northeast Skins Cash spiel date is set for Feb. 26-26, 2016.
Our annual Cash spiel will be happening this year on Feb 26-28. In the past we have had people enter teams and in most cases they were competitive teams. We have been talking about having members sign up this year as individuals with a position noted. On the Thursday the 25th the said positions like skip, mate, second and lead will be put into a draft by the skips and teams will be picked that way. We want to make this a fair and fun cash spiel for members and maybe sponsor teams. If out of club teams want in then they will have to do the same. In saying that we may not get any out of club teams. That’s ok with us. As long as we can get at least 32 names on the sheet we will be happy. The sign-up sheet and posters will be going up next week. We really need names on the sheet well in advance of the spiel so as to know numbers for food etc…
Finals results are in…. Team Brymer won the A final and took home the $700… runnerup was Team DeCoff…. A thank you goes out to Team Brymer who gave Team DeCoff their regsitration fee back out of thier winnings… B Final winners was Team Armstrong with a total of $380…. runnersup were Team O’Leary with $120…. thanks to all the curlers who participated… and thanks to all the people who lent a hand with help in the bar, kitchen and food that was brought and prepared all weekend….
