This course will be FREE to participants if I can get 25 people to participate. Can you please pass the word along to anyone who is interested. They can call me at 902-533-2098.

Thank you,

Social function this Thursday April 26th at 7pm…

During yesterday’s Memorial Bonspiel, Mary EA Connolly suggested that there be a social function at the curling club next Thursday, April 26 — as explained within Mary’s enclosed email. Mary EA and Phil O’Regan will be the persons heading up this gathering thus they will be its organizers and contact persons.

Since both Betty and I have made other plans for next Thursday we are not able to  participate. Our regrets are extended but so are our wishes for all to have a great time in this promising event.

Thanks to all for a very, very, very eventful curling season; much has been accomplished for which we all can be proud.

Cheers to all. 🙂

Open House at the club…

The Chedabucto Curling Club is hosting an Open House.  We invite members, former members, financial contributors and the community-at-large to come and check out the expansion/renovations to the curling club rink’s 6 Reddy’s Hill, Boylston, location.
Refreshments and tours will be ongoing from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 22.

Never curled?  Thinking about becoming a member?   There will be an opportunity to try it out and throw a rock or two.  (Clean rubber soled shoes only, please)

The Chedabucto CC has been a vital member of the community since its beginning in 1963 due to the generosity and dedicated efforts of many volunteers and support from many organizations, businesses and governmental departments.
The expansion/renovation have been made possible due to the financial assistance from Club members, community supporters and a generous contribution from the Municipality of the District of Guysborough.
