Memorial Closing Bonspiel April 5-7..

The bonspiel committee met last Thursday night. The results are that there will be no Skins Cash bonspiel this year. We will try again next year. So the next and last bonspiel is the Memorial Closing bonspiel on Apr 5-7. This will be a regular bonspiel. The amount of ends played per game (6 or 8) will be determined by the number of teams entered. The make up of teams will not be a draft. You put your own team in. The bonspiel committee will have last say of the makeup of teams entered. The signup sheet goes up tomorrow. The fee is $120 per team or $30 per curler. One game Fri night and two on Sat. The top 4 or 6 will meet on Sunday for the trophy and prizes. The 60th Anniversary committee has stuff planned all weekend including a turkey dinner on Sat (I believe it is $15) and Liam Brophy will entertain us on Sat night from 8-11. I hear it will be $10 per non curler. Lunch will also be served on Sat.
