Today the Day League Semi-Finals were held at the club. Team G. Jamieson beat Team Armstrong in close match. Gerry’s team goes on now to the League Final to be held on Thursday of this week at 10am vs Team J. Jamieson. Also don’t forget tomorrow night is the Tuesday Night League Final with Team Dobson playing Team Luddington.

In the final Championship game today Team Druhan from the Highlander Club in St. Andrews won the closest to the pin to win the final skin and the game over Team MacCuspic from the Port Hawkesbury club. In the Consolation game Team Dobson won 7 of 8 skins to win the Consolation Championship over Team Brymer. Overall it was a great weekend with lots of good curling. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out plus a thanks to Rob MaClean who entertained us Friday night. Check out the pictures in the Photo Gallery to be put up soon.

The playoffs for the Skins Spiel is happening as I type (10am). Team Dobson is playing Team MacCuspic (Port Hawkesbury) in one game and Team Brymer is playing Team Durham (St. Andrews) in the other game. Winners advance to the Championship final at 1pm today. The losers play in the Consolation Final also at 1pm today. Come on out and watch.

Last night Team Cunningham played Team Luddington for the Thursday Night League Championship. Team Cunningham, which was dominant all year long, again was dominant in their win over Team Luddington. George’s team had their chances especially in the 5th and 6th end but just could not break through. Congratulations to Greg’s team of Carol Rhynold, Shauna Cody and Sidney MacPherson.

This morning in the Day League Playoffs Team J. Jamieson beat Team G. Jamieson in the 1-2 Page Playoff game. Team J. Jamieson now advances to the Championship game to be played next Thursday April 11th at 10am. Team G. Jamieson will now play in the Semi Final next Monday April 8th. In the 3-4 Page playoff game it was Team Armstrong beating Team Hart to advance to the Semi Final next Monday.
