Today in the semi-final game Team DeCoff defeated Team G. Jamieson on the final shot of the game to advacne to tomorrow’s final vs Team Connolly at 9:30am. The 2nd half of the Day League starts on Thursday Jan. 19th.

The Chedabucto Curling Club Junior League curlers were recently rewarded for selling 50/50 tickets by having their names entered into a draw for pizza certificates that were donated by AA Munro Insurance, Antigonish. Greetings of the season to all.  (This invite extends to day leagues and night leagues.)

This Thursday we will be having our Christmas pot luck dinner at our curling rink. There will be the usual morning games but no curling at lunch time. In lieu of afternoon curling there will be our Christmas gathering to celebrate friendships and “break bread together” as we move into this special and joyous weekend.

On behalf of all at the Chedabucto CC I extend a warm invite to you to attend if your schedule permits. Friends and family members are also welcome to join our festive get-together. The only “charge” is to bring something as a contribution to the serving table so as to enable all to have a bite or two as we gather for our celebration.
