2015 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship organizing committee is still looking for volunteers

The 2015 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship organizing committee is still looking for volunteers. A portion of the profit from this event go back into local clubs. The amount of volunteers that are active members of a club impacts that club’s share of profit. You can find the conditions and benefits of volunteering here – http://www.curling.ca/2015worldmen-en/volunteer/benefits-and-conditions-of-volunteering/ and people can sign up to volunteer here http://www.curling.ca/2015worldmen-en/volunteer/. As far as I know Ray Bates, and Phil & Nancy O’Regan from our club have volunteered for the event.

The Highland Heart’s centre section for November 28th is covering the Chedabucto Curling Club…

This week’s publication of The Highland Heart Weekly‘s centre section will feature a lengthy write up with four photos about the Chedabucto Curling Club’s evolution and CAS’s renovation goals.   The Highland Heart Weekly will arrive at its region-wide distribution locations on Friday, November 28th.  To get your free edition before “they fly off the shelves” you will need to be “quick on the grab”. Cheers 🙂
