On behalf of the Chedabucto Curling Club Community Activity Society (CAS) I extend to Lloyd Hines my congratulations regarding his appointment to the position of Nova Scotia’s Minister of Natural Resources. In his cabinet position for the government of Nova Scotia he will be faced with new and exciting challenges, all of which I believe he will meet with competence and enthusiasm.
It is my hope, even though he will be faced with the very demanding task of overseeing his ministerial department and its many responsibilities, that his ongoing and demonstrated support of the Chedabucto Curling Club Community Activity Society will continue. As I am certain you will agree, our curling facility has contributed much to our region over the rink’s 52 years of existence. With his assistance CAS’s members and supporters will be further enabled to continue to work diligently and successfully as they strive to offer opportunities and services back to our members, supporters and residents throughout our corner of Nova Scotia.
My sincere best wishes to you, Minister Hines, as you move forward within your new governmental office and with serving the people of Guysborough-Eastern Shore-Tracadie.
Sincere regards,
Ray Bates, President
Chedabucto Curling Club Community Activity Society (CAS)
