Last Wednesday the Chedabucto CC rink had its first stick-delivery-rules curling games. We had four teams on the ice at 7:00 PM with three spare curlers in the wait. The two games, being played on Ice 1 and Ice 2, lasted approximately 55 minutes. The consensus was to continue with such games on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM to see if the interest is maintained or grows. If the interest continues we could easily have two sets of games and be finished by 9:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity to expand the use of our rink and to get more curlers back into the sport or to attract new ones.
