Here is some info on a spiel at the Strait Area Community Curling Club:
Well that Summer seemed to fly by rather quickly; however now that we are into October, it will soon be time to start thinking about Curling. With that in mind, the Strait Area Community Curling Club is pleased to advise that we will once again be hosting our Strait Supplies and Stright MacKay Open Cashspiel. This year the Cashspiel is scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 22rd – 24th, and we are very thankful to have Strait Supplies and Stright MacKay back as our title sponsors, which will allow us to once again offer a guarantee of $1,000.00 to the “A” Winners.
As most of you have seen in the past, our Cashspiel combines good curling with good ice, good food, and good fun. We are pleased to have Jeremy White back to entertain us on Saturday Night, and we really hope your team can make it back this year as well. We can take a maximum of 16 teams and entries are taken on a first come first serve basis. All we need is an email from you to reserve your spot, and we will collect your team entry fee before your first draw. I have already had four teams contact me to reserve a spot even before sending out this communication, so hopefully that’s a good sign that we will fill the draw with 16 teams – so get your entries in early to save your spot.
