First, thank you for responding to my earlier email about who will be returning this year to curl. Overwhelmingly positive to say the least. Therefore it is a go. George And Phil are currently leading a team of volunteers and making ice. They started last weekend and hope to paint the surface in a next day or so. Our annual AGM which couldn’t happen last May did occur last Thursday night with social distancing and masks. Here are some of the highlights.
* We will be curling this year starting in November. This includes day league, night league, and juniors. Little rocks usually didn’t start until January so there will be more info coming at a later date re this important group.
* Elections took place and the following are your executive for the 2020-21 season.
President – Maurice Landry
Vice-President – Blair Brymer
Treasurer- Holly Nahrebecky
Secretary- Ruth Gunn
At Large- Lois MacDonald
At Large- Lynda Macintosh
Long serving members leaving the board were Ray Bates and Kay Chisholm. It was expressed by all that these 2 individuals led us through thick and thin these last number of years and without them the club would be in a very different situation, physically, financially, and league participation.
* It was voted on and agreed upon to charge the following for this upcoming years memberships.
Registration Night will be Thursday October 29th between 6:30- 8:00 at the club.
Adults $285.00
Juniors and little Rockers $55.00
Social Membership $35.00
In closing, please find 3 attachments: Adult Registration form, Youth Registration form, and a flyer to share with any possible new individuals who may wish to join our great club. The attached Registration form can be completed and printed and brought with you to registration night to save you time and help adhere to Social distancing on Thursday night.
