Valerie Ash winner of the curling club Feb 22 50/50 Draw….
On behalf of the Chedabucto Curling Club Community Activity Society (CAS) my congratulations and thank you goes to Valerie Ash, Sunnyville, for being the February 22 winner of CAS’s 50/50 draw. Valerie’s winning ticket — worth $132.00 — was randomly drawn by Club member Emily Perry (see attached photo). (The prize amount, although not large like some 50/50 draws, is a definite help to the ongoing financial needs of the Chedabucto Curling Club.)
My thanks also goes to AA Munro Insurance, Antigonish, for sponsoring the pizza incentives to the junior program curlers for their efforts to sell 50/50 tickets on behalf of the Chedabucto Curling Club.
Our next 50/50 draw will be Saturday, March 14, at the Mixed-Doubles Bonspiel’s awards’ presentation. Thank you to all who bought the Chedabucto Curling Club’s 50/50 tickets — and to those involved in their selling. Tickets can be acquired by contacting CAS members or picked up at the Club’s Boylston location.
Our rink’s website: (https://www.chedabuctocc.ca/50-50-draw-results-2019-20) has updates on our draws and the names of this season’s 50/50 winners.
