Students from several countries throughout the world are attending school in the Strait Region; on Saturday, March 7th, they are going to try their hand at curling. Team Dobson is off to a great start at the 2015 NS Traveler’s Women’s Club Championships in Wolfville, NS. They won their 1st game 10-4 and are tied 2-2 after 2 ends in game #2. Team Dobson is now at 4-1 at the NS Traveler’s Curling Championships after a 7-4 win over Team Seamone. Play resumes tomorrow at 9am.
Team Dobson lost a nail biter to Team Phillips on Saturday afternoon 6-5 in extra’s. They finished with a 4-3 record. Congrats go out to Paula and her teammates for putting up a good showing. Team Phillips (CFB Halifax)Â is battling Team Moriarty (Mayflower CC) today for the championship.

Congrats to Team Sangster who has just won the NS Senior Provincial Curling Championships in Shelburne, NS. He finished with a 7-1 record and won the last game 5-2 over defending champ Team O’Leary.
