The ‘4’ Curling bonspiel, slated for this weekend, is now cancelled. Only one team was signed up.

Our Junior girls meet up with Team McEwan in New Glasgow at the Pinty’s Grand Slam curling.

The Chedabucto Curling Club Junior Curling Program commenced on November 14 with 7 of 13 juniors present. As is common with active students, a volleyball tournament resulted in 6 curlers being absent. The Chedabucto Curling Club gratefully acknowledges support to its Junior Curling Program from the Municipality of the District of Guysborough Department of Recreation and AA Munro Insurance. The Chedabucto Curling Club Junior Curling Program (ages 10 years plus) will commence this Thursday, Nov 14, 3:00 PM, with their 2019/2020 registration. In addition to having emergency response sheets on site, I have attached the same to this email for an advance-completion option.

It has been customary for the Juniors (10 years+) to assist the CCC with the selling of the Club’s 50/50 tickets. I will be distributing 50/50 tickets this Thursday. There is no set number of tickets to take; the number is whatever you feel is reasonable. As an incentive to sell books of tickets, for each book the Junior sells, the Junior’s name goes into a monthly draw when we randomly select two different names for large Big G pizzas that have been donated by AA Munro Insurance, Antigonish.

Please spread the word to whomever you believe might be interested that registration for the older juniors is this Thursday.
