New for the Club, we are having a members’ Christmas Potluck dinner on the evening of Friday, December 13. This idea was proposed and approved at last week’s executive meeting with the objective of enabling CCC members and guests (Day League, Night League & Social) to come together for a non-curling get-together as we approach our Christmas recess. (More details forthcoming.)

The CCC’s 50/50 tickets are now available at our curling rink. The first
draw of this curling season will be at our turkey shoot (Saturday, Nov.
30). The CCC still owes a good chunk of change to the RBC for our
recently completed siding/insulation project thus everyone’s (10 years
and older Juniors and all adults) support  to sell the tickets will be
sincerely appreciated. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Any

This is the notice going out to the school this week to promote the Junior Curling program at our club.

On Saturday Oct. 19th Team Connolly won the 65+ women’s event at the Highlander club. There were 3 teams in their division ’65+ women’, Chedabucto CC, Highlander CC and Bridgewater CC. 

The set up was a double round robin with teams 1 and 2 playing off at 4:30 pm Saturday. 1st place was Highlander CC, 2nd place was Chedabucto CC, and Bridgewater CC placed 3rd. 

In the playoff Chedabucto CC defeated Highlander CC and will represent Nova Scotia at the Canadian 55+ championship in Kamloops BC in August 2020.
