Another volunteer food handler’s course is being offered at the Legion on Wednesday, May 29. The notice that is going to be in the Journal‘s Community Calendar for the next three Wednesdays is indicated below. It would be appreciated if you could also circulate this information. This session is open to all, regardless of Legion or curling affiliation.
Volunteer Food Handlers’ Course: The Chedabucto Curling Club Community Activity Society (CAS) and the Royal Canadian Legion, Guysborough, are working together to present a “volunteer food hygiene training” course on Wednesday, May 29, from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. There is a limit on available seats.
This free course — being presented by Nova Scotia Agriculture Food Safety and Enforcement and being conducted at the Royal Canadian Legion, Guysborough — is open to all.
The deadline to register is Friday, May 24. The participants’ names, organizations and phone numbers are to be submitted to either Ray Bates (533.2528) or Edith Walker (533.2098) by May 24. Be prepared to leave a phone message.
