Sydney Nova Scotia is bidding to host the Scotties Tournament of Hearts from February 4th to 11th, 2018. We’re writing to invite your members, and your members’ family and friends, to join us at the Scotties in Cape Breton.
The bid is being put forward by a local committee and is supported by the four Cape Breton Island curling clubs: the Baddeck Curling Club, the Schooner Curling Club, the Strait Area Curling Club, and the Sydney Curling Club.
To strengthen our bid, we are offering a pre-sale on a week-long event pass. A $100 deposit will hold your seat at the Scotties. This offer ends June 17, 2016. If the bid isn’t successful, the $100 deposit will be refunded.
Please find attached a flyer with more information. As I write this, the link to purchase deposits online isn’t yet active, but we anticipate that it will be active very soon. Please share this information with your members. The more community support we have, the stronger our bid will be.
