Chedabucto CC Juniors 2017-2018 season conclusion session…

The concluding instructional session for the Chedabucto Curling Club Juniors Program was held at the curling rink on Friday, April 6. Due to the supportive involvement of parents and volunteers, plus financial assistance from the Municipality of the District of Guysborough (MODG) and AA Munro Insurance, the juniors had an enjoyable and successful season.
As part of the April 6 gathering, the names of the juniors who sold 50/50 tickets on behalf of the Club were entered as many times as the numbers of books each sold into a random draw for the awarding of two Big G’s pizza certificates purchased by AA Munro Insurance. Winning the two large-pizza certificates were Vanessa Dort and Tristan Kieley.
The Chedabucto Curling Club appreciates the volunteer  assistance towards the junior program from parents and Club members. The curling club also acknowledges the ongoing financial assistance of the MODG and AA Munro Insurance. In addition, the Juniors’ media coverage via the Guysborough Journal has been a gold-level quality.

As this curling season draws to its conclusion the Chedabucto Curling Club is pleased to announce that it will be endeavouring to start a Little Rocks Curling Program in the 2018-2019 curling season in conjunction with its current junior program. The Little Rocks Junior Program is being designed to welcome children from approximately ages 6 years to 10 years of age into the sport of curling. More details will be forthcoming in the fall of 2018 via the Club’s website: www.chedabuctocc.ca.

With my best regards,

Ray
