If anyone is interested in volunteering at the 2016 Tim Horton’s Brier in Ottawa it may not be too late. Nancy and Phil O’Regan from our club are going. They may be full up but you may be able to go on a wait list. Here is the 1st newsletter from the volunteer committee with contact info plus the website:
Get your name on the wall for buying ducky tickets…..
Will your ducky tickets’ names be displayed on the wall chart? So as to be certain that the sold ducky tickets are recorded and any unsold ducks removed from the ducky race, all sold ducks’ numbers (tickets) are placed according to their owners’ name onto the large wall chart at the rink for the day of the ducky race.
Folks are submitting their sold tickets and moneys to Kay, to me or to Holly (at the Boylston Post Office) so the numbers can be recorded onto the wall chart by Kay.
If you need more tickets to sell or want to buy tickets, let me know. (902.533.2528)
Our hope is to have as many tickets as possible turned in by this Friday (July 10) so they can be recorded thereby lessening the rush to get them listed for the ducky race.
If you still have tickets to sell or to turn in, please do so as soon as possible. If your sold tickets and money have been submitted — thank you.
Cheers 🙂
Ray

Only two weeks until BBQ and Ducky race……
We are only two weeks tomorrow until the rink’s chicken BBQ and ducky race. If not already done, please sell and then submit your sold tickets/moneys to either me or Kay so she can get those tickets (ducks) recorded. We would love to have all tickets sold and returned by July 10.
Also, if still to be done, please turn in your stick draw prizes to enable BA to get them numbered for the stick draw. If it is easier, you may leave the prizes with me (101 Green St) so I can store them with those already submitted. We are not storing at the rink due to the ease of entry in spite of its locked doors.
Thanks Ray
