Only two weeks until BBQ and Ducky race……
We are only two weeks tomorrow until the rink’s chicken BBQ and ducky race. If not already done, please sell and then submit your sold tickets/moneys to either me or Kay so she can get those tickets (ducks) recorded. We would love to have all tickets sold and returned by July 10.
Also, if still to be done, please turn in your stick draw prizes to enable BA to get them numbered for the stick draw. If it is easier, you may leave the prizes with me (101 Green St) so I can store them with those already submitted. We are not storing at the rink due to the ease of entry in spite of its locked doors.
Thanks Ray
Please DO NOT take staples out of ducky tickets
Very important message from Kay Chisholm regarding leaving the staples in the ducky tickets:
“When selling your tickets, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE STAPLES OUT OF THE TICKETS.
Reason for this is very simple……….I have 7 or 8 large sheets (2 feet X 3 feet each) to record all the info. If the tickets are all singles and not in books, it takes a LONG time to sort it all out and flipping through those large pages is not a lot of fun. I end up having to staple them again. If there was ever a question over any number, it would also be easier to deal with. When I finish recording, I put all the sold books in a large envelope. Just trying to get ahead of another unnecessary task.”
